​EQUIPPING and EMPOWERING teens through PERSONAL and PROFESSIONAL development

Our team is actively raising the necessary funds to secure a designated, accessible, permanent "space" in the

city of Giddings, Texas, where teens and young adults (ages 15-21) can gather, learn, grow... and thrive!

​

THE NEED:

Currently, BUFFALO NATION serves 15-20 individuals at various temporary locations. However, with a dedicated, accessible space, we could reach an even larger herd. There is no designated space—outside of high school—specifically designed for teens and young adults. This gap leaves young people without the extra support and resources they need. We're now seeing more teens reach out for help, almost daily.

THE URGENCY:

According to the Texas Education Agency’s 2023 Texas Academic Performance Report for Giddings ISD*:

• 68.3% of students are economically disadvantaged

• 53.2% are considered at-risk

• 1.1% are identified as homeless​

​​

These numbers paint a clear picture: there is an urgent need for consistent, out-of-school support that is critical to breaking the cycle of poverty and unlocking brighter futures. This data—combined with real-life testimonials—is more than just a call for help. It’s an opportunity for us to stand in the gap and make a lasting difference.

THE PURPOSE OF YOUR GIFT:

Your thoughtful gift will directly fund the purchase of a permanent facility, enabling us to:

• Provide emergency food and basic necessities to teens in need

• Offer free services to help teens and young adults navigate life challenges

• Significantly expand our reach - increasing from 15-20 teens to 50-100+

• Create a central hub for life skills workshops, mentorship, and special events fostering personal and professional development
